Asha Ali has been in the scene for quite a while, and has released a really great album in 2014. Subtle pop with good beats dressed by her beautiful soft voice.

We met last July at a very nice garden/cafe in Vinterviken, a beautiful place full of flowers, perfect for an intimate version of her 2 songs "Words" and "Stop Talking".

Asha Ali est une artiste originaire de Somalie vivant à Stockholm, dont la musique a des touches de soul et de pop indie. Elle débute sa carrière en 2005.

Fin de 2006, elle sort son premier album "Asha Ali", qui a été nominé presque immédiatement pour les Grammis et P3 Guld.
Son 2e album "Hurricane" sort en 2009.

Son 3e album "Loud and Out of Place" sort en 2014.
