Daniel from the band Ljus contacted me last summer to propose to film his new project, Filipsson Gamba Rangstad. An instrumental trio with a very melodic and atmospheric folk style, truly nice to listen to.

I met them in a large photo studio in the heart of Södermalm where the band, in a full setup, performed two songs from their latest album, "Svartsjölandet".

Filipsson Gamba Rangstad

Filipsson Gamba Rangstad est un trio instrumental suédois réunissant Daniel Filipsson, Daniel Gamba et Jonas Rangstad.

Leur musique, à la fois mélodique et cinématographique, s’inspire des traditions nordiques tout en explorant des formes contemporaines libres.

Entre folk imaginaire, paysages sonores et atmosphères introspectives, le groupe crée une musique instrumentale évocatrice, souvent décrite comme une bande originale de film fictif. Leur univers se distingue par sa profondeur émotionnelle et son sens aigu de la narration musicale.
